Dexterously moving through cultures and locations, Ficca and Luciano lithely give expression to the utilitarian or ordinary in contemporary life through their photography.  An animated, honest humor tinges the pragmatic realism of Ficca and Luciano’s photographs, which results in a refreshing sense of contented irony. A feeling of community and common understanding exudes from Ficca and Luciano’s photographs, as the pair effortlessly, dynamically exploit their individual aesthetics to one electrifying purpose.
